It would be better for the fans though

cheaper tickets, more availability etc.. unfortunately, that is not the priority for many clubs any more. Although, we do have a board who are also fans, so they are more likely to take this into consideration than most.

Cheap tickets now, especially youth ones, can also be seen as an investment in the future of the club.

It looks as though in the next few years, that TV money will dwarf gate receipts for a club our size whatever we do. We might as well try to get as big a fan base as possible, so that when the TV money collpases we have something to fall back on.
