agreed, but that doesn't make him a saint

a saint is someone who makes sacrifices for others. Beckham never ever does this. EVERYTHING Beckham does is based around increasing the financial value of Brand Beckham for personal gain. It is highly manipulative. I have no problem with him looking after number one - that's what most people do - but with the totally false image that he generates (and the media are as much to blame as him). He is no more a 'great guy' than, say, the widely-despised Craig Bellamy, who generally makes a lot lot less noise about his charity exploits.
