Yeah, not sure what's happened really

one of two things probably:

1) Some of Lambert's players over-achieved massively last season and aren't up to it for a second season, or
2) Lambert kept everyone involved and believing that they'll get a chance so they were all sharper and all eager, whereas now only the first 12/13 players are match-sharp and have the belief that comes with being a first choice.
