We are clearly banking the "easy" signings today and then hoping we can

pull off a big swoop/transfer coup tomorrow. at least if we have Becchio and Kei in the bag then if Hooper doesn't happen we still have added to the squad and are not doing a Doncaster by selling a striker and then missing out on his replacement and ending up weaker.

I still would not be at all surprised to see us sign Davies and Hooper tomorrow.
