Ruttmann's a weird one. Berlin, Symphony is completely apolitical, as far as I remember - Ruttmann started by making abstract films. I'm not sure how pro-Nazi he was - obviously not anti-Nazi to skip the country like Fritz Lang etc in the Thirties.

Symphony is well worth a watch though. Are you into those Weimar films?
