simple - we didn't

apart from the Liverpool game all the games on our bad run have been close games. In the good run they were all close games. In the good run we nicked a goal more (or at the least the same as) the opposition, in the bad run generally we haven't. And we've generally been playing better teams - certainly none of the bottom ones, with the exception of Newcastle.
