I will never argue against anyone at the club wanting to clear all our debts. I have supported NCFC for give or take 20 years and in that time our debts have always been a massive mill stone round the neck of the club. For years we have wanted to see the debts cleared.
If we get relegated because the money repaying debts couldnt be put into transfers, at least NCFC will go down in the strongest position of any relegated club for a very long time. Unlike Bolton or Portsmouth, or Blackburn or Wolves, we will be under no pressure to sell star players. We will be under no pressure to reduce a wage bill and will be in a very strong position to challenge for an immediate return.
