Thoughts

1. In hindsight, Jane did better than Holt, but he's still not good enough
2. Bennett and Barnett should have been off-loaded, not Ward
3. Howson, Bennett, Surman and Fox are fully aware that Hughton doesn't rate them, and performed as though they have lost all belief
4. Howson was often even deeper than Fox, who was also pretty deep. We basically handed the midfield to a Conference side.
5. Wes and Pilks were as bad as the rest when they came on.
6. Desperately need another centre back as well as a CM and forward.
7. Although the team should have been easily good enough to win, our style of play is so undynamic that you can barely see where the next goal is coming from. We only created THREE chances against a Conference side at home.
8. Taken in isolation, our last four games have been among the worst sequence of performances for many, many years.
9. I'm going off Hughton a bit.
