right. FUCK YOU, Arizona Bay, and FUCK THE HORSE YOU RODE IN ON

You have MADE me do this with your NBTTP and NBTTT

This is from Hucks, p104.

"... it's never just been about scoring goals for me, and I can honestly say that I'd rather not score and win the game one-nil than hit the net and lose two-one.

"I think of Earnie - Robert Earnshaw, who I played with at Norwich - in relation to this. He's one of the best finishers I've ever seen, but scoring was the only thing that mattered to him. I'd do a run, beat three men, cross it for him to tap in - and then he'd run over to the corner flag and do a somersault. I'd think: 'Hold on, I've just done everything to put that on a plate for you - and now you're off to do acrobatics for the crowd'. But that's just how natural goalscorers are. They're just desperate to put the ball away, and it's all they're paid to do. It's surprising how rarely you find good team players who also score lots of goals - goalscorers are what you bolt onto a team that's already good.

"There are exceptions, of course. Dion, Dean Ashton, and Grant Holt all score goals while making the players around them better. Mostly, though, the top scorers charts are full of players who have that selfish streak I think I lack."
