will a new striker make a difference anyway?

Not sure we had a meaningful attack from open play against Liverpool.

Distinct lack of ability to press the opposition, retain possession or pass the ball are probably bigger problems at the moment than a striker who wouldn't help in that regard.

I think a new forward is important, I'd be looking for another cm as well.
