I hope Graham does sign as I rate him but

I can't help thinking we may have screwed up here by concentrating on Hooper and regarding Graham as a fallback option. I can quite shake the feeling that had we bid ?5m for him on 1st jan we could have had him in the bag but now he has other options that may appeal more.
