Wes has been poor by his standards lately and thought he could have done with a longer rest, benching would do him no harm, and although it was only Peterborough Benno did enough last week to earn a start.
I think he didn't play him because he was being cautious (as usual) because Wes does more defensive work than Benno (arguably).
It's actually getting to the point where you really do start to wonder if Hughton does have a Plan B.
Today was dull and hugely predictable from both teams.
