Poor today

I guess it's a point that stops the rot but there were three points there for the taking today and I hope we dont live to regret not taking them. Newcastle were depleted, in poor form and never really tried to win it yet we never really looked like we knew how to win it. Once again Hoots extreme conservatism with subs was immensely frustrating but probably the most frustrating thing was (here comes Birtles) the woeful passing and crossing in the final third. Terrible doesn't really do it justice and when you set up to play as we do it's a real problem because we rely on set pieces for quite a few of our goals.

The positives are solid at the back, Bunn was good and we did generally control the game and give ourselves a platform from which we should have won but we really need that new striker and we really need to be killing off teams in games like that.
