just back from the game

which is a joke in itself considering it finished about 2 hours ago. leaving that ground is a nightmare

depressing afternoon. i need to see it again so excuse me if this bollocks but i initially thought their early pen was fair - at least i saw the tangle straight away and was praying the ref hadnt seen it. and then he whistled. but after that he was f**king diabolical. as we were for the most part. ground very quiet, both us and them, and then the fans started arguing amongst themselves about the lack of singing etc.

second half we looked better once we played it on the floor a bit, but that was only in patches. though if the ref had given us one of those pens we might have got something. not sure we'd have deserved it really but still pissed off by clattenburgs performance

look forward to buying some firepower. we clearly need it. and if anyone thinks we should sell holt (as was mooted on here the oher day), well, they must be mad.
