MIL "Yes, me too"

Friend "I don't understand people who sit on computers. It's so antisocial. People become recluses. The bloke next door, he's got 2 dogs and he's a recluse"

MIL "yes, they take over people's lives, I hate them. Such time wasters"

Friend "so, what did you watch on telly over christmas"
