I chopped the head off a pike i caught when I was a lad

and its jaw carried on opening and closing for a good half hour after.

Mother and father ate it for their supper. Not the head. The other end. The bit behind the head. That's why I cut it off, cos it was being ate. I wouldn't just randomly cut the head of a fish.
