I ran some prelim numbers based on strength of schedule of the remaing fixtures and its probably going to take 37 points to stay up.
The bottom six have a winrate of 1.0 PPG or less.
The probability of 4 or more of the bottom 6 winning at greater than 1.0 PPG in the remaing games is low.

The good news is the QPR and Reading look doomed which hurts their chances of bringing in quality players in the window.
In the champs they would at least have the ability to bring in tons of loans.
Saints and Villa will spend, not sure about Wigan, they also have the Africa Cup of Nations to contend with which could hurt them.
