I think Newcastle have bought a fair few relative-unknowns in recent years

They seem to have adjusted well to the prem

Likewise with Arsene in the past, snapping up all the "foreign" young-uns who then get sold for big bucks a few years down the line

I think people are just excited about getting in new players to add to what we already have - providing they're not already proven to be crap, I think looking forward to the next Benteke (another unknown imo) isn't such a bad thing :-)
