Techy help anyone?

when I read certain threads there are certain words that are underlined and in a different colour to the rest of the article.

It`s la bit like the layout you see on Wikipedia only this time when you hover above the word a pop up advert appears, usually for a f**ken Iphone 5. it`s very annoying.

How do I stop this happening? note it only happens on Firefox. I have no problem with Internet explorer or google chrome.
