I had a call from NCFC; my entry to do the cross bar challenge was picked out and I?m one of the two having a go at half time in the Man City game. I must have emailed an entry loads of times over the years but only once this season.

After hunting around I?ve found out I don?t even own a pair of football boots now as they were given away to a charity shop (luckily already had an offer to borrow from a pal) and I?ve not kicked a ball since Gemma and I had a kick around in the park a couple of times before she was the away mascot at QPR in Peter Grant?s final game in October 2007.

I?ll off to practice in the park after Christmas to see if I can even reach the goal.
