After 18 games last year we had 21 points with goal difference of -6.

Villa after 18 games had 20 points with goal difference of - 4 but ended the season on -16 (38 points). So they're doing worse than under the previous Scotsman who was hated by the fans.

In summary: haven't a f**king clue what it all means.
