Though tbf Turner didn't play well at all

See, if an established player turns in a string of poor performances, we can say "Oh, Pilks/Holt/BJ has had three poor games now, he needs a rest" whereas if a new signing has a coupe of shockers it's natural to worry that we've signed a dud.

I'm glad he's turned it around, all credit to the coaching staff and to The Immaculate Bassong.

Had Tettey played his first few like he played yesterday, we might all be fretting about him, too. And there's nothing wrong with this.
