n't knock someone who 8,000+ test runs,he's got a great knowledge of the game too. if you watch the old clips from the early 70s on espn though you'll see how much technicque has improved and how the quality of coaching now is far better,you still need that single minded determination in the old days though,and can you imagine facing some of the bowlers he did without a helmet? fecking terrifying!
