Got me little man a little tablet off of ebay for christmas, not apple of anything posh

Probably a stoopid question but do they need anti virus software? Are there any decent free ones on android?

Not really, not at the moment. Main thing is to only shop in Google Play app store

avg has an app for phones, so I guess they develop one for tablets
