Took my dads dog for a walk on Tuesday on the football pitch near my house,she picks somet

hing up in her mouth and starts running about with it,as dogs do.When she drops it i go and have look to see what it was and looked to me to be the skin and quills/bristles of a hedgehog.What animal would do that?
