I suppose it`s a bit of both really

Hardcore fans of certain sports will probably vote for that sport but the general public will basically vote for who the like best.

I voted for Wiggins because I like the old push biking but at the end of the day I would have had no argument if any of the 12 had won.

In years gone by Damon Hill won it for finishing second. This year it`s been a massive year for British Sport I think we`ll all agree.
