Not really, Olympic golds not necessarily enough this year

Ennis stands a bit apart because her event is the ultimate. Wiggins deserves it because he won the two biggest world events possible in his sport. And even though I don't really like Murray, Olympic gold, wimbledon runner up and US open winner is quite a year.

For me it's very hard to split any of the Olympic gold medalists so I would gave had Macilroy in top three ahead of Ennis but i understand why she got in there.
