The 2nd is held as a sacred cow

by an extraordinarily strong, well organised gun lobby. As long as they are allowed to decide US policies, it will continue to be quoted as one of the commandments. It is a viscious circle which must surely be broken.

If not, an average of one massacre a month is set to continue.

Ownership of ANY firearm should be the exception, not the rule, and allowed only under tightly controlled circumstances.
