That does my head in when white/asian people throw the word around like it's nothing

just because some black rappers deem it acceptable and are "trying to take the power out of the word"- Jay-Z.

The worst case of this was during an English lesson during my 'mature student' access course, a 19 year old white lad uttered the word while a middle aged African woman was in the room helping our tutor with technical support. He didn't aim the word directly at her but at another white class mate as a term of 'endearment'.

When I questioned him about it he said that he used the word all of the time around his 'black mates', so I said to him did he consider the feelings of somebody who might not like the use of the word by ANYBODY?

I realise your post was just satire, but I felt the story was appropriate.
