If you have a PS3 you will have most of what you

get on a Smart TV already on there....
browser, iplayer, 4OD, lovefilm, netflix, music channels, ability to link to pc and laptops and use them as media servers, etc. etc.
Plus it plays Blurays.
Plus it does games... surprisingly.
IF you want a TV catchup thing check out YouView... most broadband providers are giving the boxes away with the subscription which is, I think, less than a tenner a month.
