Anyone know anything about getting a replacement car key made?

Managed to lose my car key over the weekend, and I know it's expensive to get a replacement from the dealership. I know there's a few ways of doing it through eBay, but I wondered if someone could recommend somewhere local. It would be a replacement remote key - I have a standard key that I'm using at the moment...
