It's a fairly quiet place, so hopefully that's what you're looking for!

Think of Peterborough and you'll have a good idea of what the City is like, although the food market is worth a look as is the hunt museum. There are some nice surrounding areas such as Killaloe that have beautiful scenery, but it's very quiet in general.
