Peter Hook & The Light. If you're a Joy Division fan you must see them

I went to the Southend Chinnerys gig last night, a proper small indie venue complete with sticky floor!

Hooky did all the vocals and it worked well. The band were excellent and they played a decent set of 1hr 45min.

Started with a few early B sides inc Digital and then went into Unknown Pleasures in track order. Then finished off with other classics like Dead Souls, Decades, Isolation, Transmission, Love will Tear Us Apart and then finished with Ceremony.

The whole place was going mental by the end.

Thoroughly recommend it. They're playing Waterfront on Wed. So check them out.
