Watched the game with a couple neutrals today.

They picked out Johnson and Whittaker (with the whole back line) as being massive today. Whittaker defended the far post brilliantly from Valencia's crosses with a few crucial blocks. Johnson just dominated the midfield, had a great range of passing today, opened up the play, and wasn't afraid to hold on to the ball when he wanted to. This allowed Hoolahan to play his game as it wasn't given to him in a hurry, it was given to him when he was in the space to work
