...which is *exactly* what you should be doing for every cyclist, including those on their own.

I've lost count of the times some stupid clown motorist has thought it was OK to overtake me while there's a car coming the other way, forcing me into the gutter while we all cross three-in-a-line.

A lot of my team-mates will only ride two abreast because it prevents these dangerous overtakes happening.

Think on that the next time steam is coming from your ears due the 20 or 30 seconds the cyclists have delayed your journey...
