Scott Parker

I remember being sat next to a Norwich scout when Scott Parker was on loan at Norwich. I told him that Parker was fantastic and would play for England one day.

He didn't rate him and told me that Charlton only wanted a small fee for him, and that he was more interested in John Murphy of Blackpool.

The scout also turned up about 20 mins late for the game, and left 20 mins early.
