no where in there is something saying she should do the washing up.

she just gets on with it.

if there was some old boy up the corner shouting "oi woman do the washing up, its a pink job, and bring me a beer" then that would be different.

I like the advert, to me it tells us to be grateful for all the hard work the women in our lives put into christmas - be it mums, wives or girlfriends.
