Its not a question of patience

I have patience. I'm not calling for his head. I was advocating patience after the Chelsea game when many people were writing Hoot off.

I also don't expect us to smash Reading. I do however expect us to show more attacking intent than we did yesterday and try and win against a team who are incredibly limited. I don't know if you were at the game yesterday or not but would hazard a guess not because it seems to me to generally be those who were at the game who are more disappointed with how we played and that's because it was very obvious to anyone there that it was there for the taking but that we didn't go for it. I don't think it makes any difference whether you have been a manager for 2 games or 50 games at a club you should still want to beat teams you are capable of beating and I don't feel we wanted to do that enough yesterday.
