it is down to one guy

who was born there and made shedloads of money , so ploughed a lot into his boyhood club - they had never been higher than the third division and had a tiny stadium - their new stadium is not even in Hoffenheim as it is toobig for it
They are not popular in Germany because they have bought their way up rather than earn it
