I've got an iPad and Nexus 7. I need to be able to test website on Android and iOS

The Nexus 7 is a nice light tablet but its size makes it better suited to reading books than web browsing. By default it display mobile versions of websites.

The iPad is a much more capable tablet but it is heavier and more expensive.

You might want to hold on for the Nexus 10.

The iPad mini is quite nice, I just had a play around with one in the Apple store. Its a lot lighter than the full size iPad and will run all the software.

If you want light weight then the iPad Mini is probably best.
