one thing I will say in his defence...

is that our gung-ho style towards the end of the season didn't really suit him. His strength is making forward runs but with Hucks & Bentley in the team he might have felt more pressure to cover for people and maybe not play his natural game. Was better when we had a vaguely sensible formation.
