Relegation is obviously a possibility

I just don't think it is likely.

Nevertheless if we drop in to the bottom three and stay there then he should be sacked - no questions asked.

We would have little choice than to go for change to avoid the armageddon scenario.

As things stand though, improvement does remain a possibility, albeit an increasingly more remote one, and I fully understand the Board's genuine hope that he will turn it round.

They want to give him every chance and after what he has achieved they cannot be blamed for holding that view.

(Is this what is called reasoned debate? I feel a little lost down here. I might jump to ther top of the board and start talking about arse f**king.)
