until a suitable and clear alternative plan of action has been formulated by the Board.
I think they should hold back from sacking first and thinking later and if this season becomes a write off then so be it.
I think it would be a big mistake to get rid of him now and then scrabble around looking for a genuinely better alternative that doesn't actually exist.
Clearly Worthington is performing badly at the moment and I am sure there are managers out there who COULD do a better job.
But I would want the Board to act only if they are 100% certain that changing the manager is in the short and long term interests of the club.
I trust the Board to do the right thing and I certainly do not subscribe to 95% of the rabid knee-jerk bollocks that i read on here.
The unregulated and genuinely insulting and bile that I trawl through on this board is really dispiriting.
