How much will City gain/lose through charging ?30 for Spurs tickets

(apols for the USAC type of post)

Tickets sold for Spurs 16000 approx

So assuming that Spurs have sold their 2400 and taking a punt at the split of ages: -

12,000 are at ?30 - ?360,000
2,000 are at ?20 - ?40,000
1,000 are at ?15 -?15,000
1,000 are at ?5 - ?5,000

Total ?420,000

We?ve ?lost? 10,000 tickets sales, (say split 7500/1500/500/500), revenue of ?265,000 (say split 8500/1500). I?ve no idea what walk ups will be so of course this could improve the sales.

If we had say charged ?20/?15/?10/?5

19500 at ?20 = ?390,000
3500 at ?15 = ?52,500
1500 at ?10 = ?15,000
1500 at ?5 = ?7500

The total receipts would be ?465,000 but that?s assuming we would have sold out which is unlikely.

Assuming a decent crowd at lower prices; we still get slightly lower receipts with 23,000 assuming we miss out of on 3000 sales (split 2000/500/250/250).

But that?s not including programme sales, food, club shop, beer sales all of which goes directly do NCFC as opposed to being split. We?ll still have the same costs of staging the game as all the stands are open.

So it looks like we?ll make more money though smaller crowds and higher prices but I doubt there will be that much in it.
