Divisional pay?

Have you read Neil Doncaster`s column in the EDP today? He makes reference to divisional pay cuts being implemented immediatedly but only for " management and coaching staff". No mention is made of playing staff. Is this an oversight on his part? He is not normally impecise in his use of language . If there are divisional paycuts for players do they kick in later ? If so why ae they different to management and coaching staff ? Who knows?
