Because if Ruddy got injured we would be relying on inexperienced youngsters in goal

Remember how Gunn's injury was an important factor in our collapse in form in 1994-5. Andy Marshall was but a youth at the time.

I agree though that it is odd that neither has gone out. Perhaps we haven't had any approaches, or if we have, the lads haven't fancied them
