2012 Financial Results

As a shareholder, I got my copy of the Club's 2012 Annual Report today.

Now I'm not an accountant (thankfully) but the finances look pretty good. Some highlights:

- Turnover (income) ?74,608,000 (2011 ?23,328)
- Profit after tax ? 13,467,000 (2011 ?-3,941,000)
- External debt ?11,309,000 (2011 ?16,606,000)
- Wages & salaries ?29,591,000 (2011 ? 16,089,000)
- Wages % of turnover 34% (2011 47%)
- Cash in hand ?16,553,000 (2011 ?4,162,000)
- Broadcast Income ?48,525,000 (2011 ?5,504,000)
- Highest paid Director ?1,389,000 (2011 ?871,000)

McNasty, Lambert, the players and us (fans generating increased ticket, catering and commercial income) have done a pretty good job in stabilising our future. Stay up this year, and income will double in 2013 and we'll be debt free.
