FWIW best meals i've had recently are Trullo at Highbury Corner; the restaurant at Covent Garden Hotel; restaurant at new hotel near Liverpool St (dreadful decor and music but cracking grub): Little Sardegna, Highbury but also on Upper St N1...

However all have ability to be s**t from time to time just not as much as Bleeding Heart...
