It was worse in the lower leagues

hardly any coppers or stewards. It used to kick off in almost every game.

The only time I every got thumped was in the old 4th Division. Wigan V Barnsley. the t**t got me from behind.

Was at Old Trafford once Manure V Liverpool wating to go in the away end and it all kicked off. I got quashed against the wall by a Fucking huge Police horse.

Most of the time I managed to avoid it. You just had to be a bit street wise about things, wearing colours was a definate no no though
