A question brought about

Curiously enough, by my "Little Brick Room" stock of "When Saturday Comes" mags (Stop laughing at the back, there!).

I found a half-remembered article earlier on the transformation of Burnley under Steve Cottrill, particularly his changes on the training pitch.

Mo Camara, who has since gone to Celtic, was apparently famous from hurtling down the wing and launching crosses into the next county. Cottrill actually got him practicing crosses, up to 100 per day, and what do you know, suddenly Camara could whip them in with pace and accuracy.

Well, why can't our lads do it? Jesus, I can do it far better than they can! I can even cross with my left foot, a pretty nifty trick for a lower-league centre-forward! Why? Cos I practiced. Lots. And these guys are paid to do nothing but play football, and they can't do it?
